Days 1
Airport Arrival, Shkodër City Tour & Krujë
- Arrival at Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza, Meet your guide and begin the journey north toward Shkodër.
- Midday – Shkodër City Tour
Guided visit of Shkodër including:
- Rozafa Castle with panoramic views over Lake Shkodra
- Walk through the lively pedestrian street of Shkodër
- Lunch at a traditional restaurant in Shkodër
- Afternoon – Krujë (Drive to Krujë)
- Visit historic Krujë Castle and explore the traditional Old Bazaar.
- Learn about Albania’s national hero Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg and enjoy views.
- Drive to Shkodër
- Dinner and overnight in Shkodra.
- Scenic drive toward Theth National Park (approx. 2h 30 min).
The journey passes through the dramatic landscapes of the Albanian Alps, offering spectacular views of valleys, forests, and mountain peaks.
- Hike to the famous Blue Eye of Theth, a stunning natural spring with crystal-clear turquoise water surrounded by untouched nature.
- Visit Grunas Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Albanian Alps.
- Visit the historic Theth Church, an iconic landmark of the village set against the dramatic mountain backdrop.
- Scenic drive back to Shkodër.
- Dinner and overnight in Shkodër.

Days 3
Komani Lake & Shala River Adventure
- Scenic drive to Lake Koman ferry terminal through the mountainous landscapes of northern Albania.
- Boat trip across Lake Koman (approx. 2 hours). Enjoy one of Albania’s most spectacular journeys, often compared to fjords because of the dramatic cliffs and untouched nature surrounding the lake.
- Arrival at Shala River. Free time to enjoy the natural beauty of the area:
- Swimming in the crystal-clear turquoise waters
- Optional kayaking or relaxing by the river
- Lunch at a traditional riverside restaurant
- Boat ride back across Lake Koman. Drive back to Shkodër.
- Arrival in Shkodër, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Days 4
Tirana City Tour
- Drive from Shkodër to Tirana (approx. 2 hours).
Guided tour of Tirana including:
- Skanderbeg Square, the heart of the city
- Et’hem Bey Mosque
- Exterior visit of the National History Museum
- Lunch at a traditional restaurant in Tirana.
Afternoon
- Visit Bunk’Art 2, a museum dedicated to Albania’s communist history.
- Free time to explore the lively Blloku area, known for cafés, shops, and vibrant atmosphere.
Evening
- Hotel check-in in Tirana.
- Dinner and overnight in Tirana.
Days 5
Berat (UNESCO Heritage City)
- Drive to Berat (approx. 2 hours), passing through central Albanian countryside.
- Explore the historic Berat Castle, one of the largest inhabited castles in the Balkans. Walk through the stone streets and visit several historic churches and viewpoints overlooking the city.
- Lunch at a traditional restaurant in Berat with views of the old town.
- Walk through the famous Mangalem Quarter, known as the “City of a Thousand Windows”.
- Visit the Gorica Quarter and cross the historic Gorica Bridge for beautiful panoramic views.
- Hotel check-in in Berat.
- Dinner and overnight in Berat.
Days 6
Gjirokastër & Apollonia
- Drive to Apollonia Archaeological Park.
- Explore the ancient ruins including the amphitheater, monastery, and archaeological remains of the Greek and Roman city.
- Drive to Gjirokastër, passing through scenic countryside in southern Albania.
- Guided visit of the historic city including:
- Gjirokastër Castle, one of the largest castles in the Balkans
- Walk through the charming Gjirokastër Bazaar
- Explore traditional Ottoman-style houses
- Hotel check-in, dinner, and overnight in Gjirokastër.
Days 7
Blue Eye & Sarandë
- Scenic drive from Gjirokastër to Sarandë (approx. 2.5–3 hours).
- Drive to Blue Eye (approx. 30–40 min).
- Explore the Blue Eye (Syri i Kaltër):
Walk around the spring and enjoy photo stops
Optional short swim in shallow areas
Hike the short trails nearby
Lunch at a local restaurant near the Blue Eye.
- Drive back to Sarandë.
- Free time in Sarandë:
Relax at the beach
Walk along the promenade
Explore shops and cafés
- Dinner and overnight in Sarandë.
- Short drive to Ksamil (approx. 20–30 minutes).
- Enjoy the pristine beaches of Ksamil:
Swimming in turquoise waters
Sunbathing on white sand beaches
Optional boat trips to nearby small islands
- Lunch at a seaside restaurant with fresh seafood.
- Leisure time at Ksamil:
Explore the village or rent kayaks for a small adventure

Day 8
Ksamil Beach Day
- Scenic drive along the Albanian Riviera to Vlorë (approx. 4 hours with photo stops):
Stop at Llogara Pass for panoramic views of the Ionian Sea
Short breaks at viewpoints and small coastal villages along the Riviera
- Lunch at a seaside restaurant along the Riviera.
- Explore Vlorë:
Walk along the seaside promenade
Visit the Independence Square and the historical monuments if desired
Free time for shopping or coffee
- Check-in at hotel in Vlorë.
- Dinner and overnight in Vlorë.

Vlora & Albanian Riviera Drive

Return to Tirana
- Drive back to Tirana (approx. 3.5 hours) via scenic countryside and coastal routes.
